Background of the FCD Scheme |

The Financial Career Development Scheme for College and University Graduates (FCD Scheme) is a pioneer project initiated by International Association of Financial Advisers (AFA International) with full supports from Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA). |

This Scheme has been well received by many educational institutions in Hong Kong that share our vision and mission and give full supports of the Scheme for the interest of their students. |

Special Features of the Scheme |
| |
This Scheme is designed in such a way that participants will learn practical knowledge and skills. The training will be outcome based so that participants will be able to apply to them and the mentoring program at leading financial institutions in Hong Kong will be provided to participants so that they will be practically trained and guided by experience mentors to be ready for their career future in the financial industry, if they choose to join this field. |

The whole Scheme will take about three months to complete. For successful participants, they will be awarded Executive Diploma in Financial Planning (EDFP) by HKMA membership of AFA International. |

Future Career in the Financial Institutions |
| |
Participants have absolute right to consider to join the mentor and the institution which they have been assigned to undertake the mentoring program. Alternatively, they may choose to apply for jobs available in other financial institutions as they may prefer. |

How to join the Scheme |
| |
Any college and university graduates in Hong Kong, Macau and China may approach their colleges or universities where we have launched the Scheme for enrollment. |
